Bowles Program Coordinator Position

The Bowles Program coordinator is responsible for fostering a comprehensive Bowles First Year Experience that promotes inclusive implementation of traditions that are an integral part of the Bowles experience. The BPC will recruit, select and train students for the following year’s mentor program. The BPD will provide support for the mentors and assist them in fostering an environment where students feel safe and secure. Also, the BPC will work closely with the current mentors to ensure that all traditions have been executed and are appropriately honored. Specifically, the BPC will supervise Thursday night singing, traditions around football games and Friday evening BBQs. The BPC will meet regularly with the Mentors, both individually and as a leadership body, and facilitate relationship building between the hall staff, students and mentors. The BPC will evaluate mentors at the end of the semester to provide feedback about performance in the voluntary leadership position. The BPC will advise the Hall Association and develop and support leadership opportunities in Bowles.
