- Foothill Bridge:
Since the 1980s, students have been advocating for a safer path across the street between Foothill LaLoma and Foothill Hillside. The steep hill that students cross day-in and day-out is a very dangerous path that has led to many accidents before. In the academic year of 2004-2005, the Residence Hall Assembly advocated and pushed for the bridge; and finally, Berkeley City Council passed the permit for the bridge to be built. The bridge was completed in the Fall of 2007.
